"Crankin' The Maple"


I got it from thinking about sluggers, like Griffey or Ryan Howard. They always swing with their hands in-tight, like in a cranking motion. They make it seem really effortless. That's one of the coolest images of baseball I can think of. Maple bats have become really popular lately, and I like the way that word sounded, so I used that to describe the bats.





That's all you have to do. Try to think of what you love about baseball. Or, take inspiration from your team. Maybe if your team is relatively small and quick, you can work in the phrase "small ball" or something about speed. If it's sluggers, your name can have something to do with sluggers.





Then, make it rhyme, or use really cool words in place of boring ones, to make it sound good. You can use double-meanings or references.
