Reply:Unique implies one and only. Any name suggested would most likely not be unique. My nephew sure came up with unique names for his three children. I never heard of names like them before.





Now there are some birds with rather unusual names. Cotinga is on such bird. Some are snowy white. Others of the family are turquoise. Now I think you would have to admit that Cotinga is an unusual name. And when your baby girl becomes old enough and asks where her name came from, you could say a very beautiful family of birds found in Costa Rica.
Reply:I like Willow and Sage as others have said. What about Bridgette or Madison? Those are not as commonly used but are "mainstream" names. You could always be weird like Gwyneth Paltrow and name your girl after a fruit: apple, pear, papaya... If I had had a daughter instead of a son, she was going to be named Skylar Elizabeth.

I had a name picked out for my girl and when I saw her I thouhgt nooo waay...so she ended up with a totally different name. Ask your husband what he thinks and let him help name your baby.


Oh and I like Annelise. pronounced anna-leese, very feminine, I heard it on one of my daughters barbie videos.
Reply:Congrats on the baby!! i agree with you, a unique name gives personality, i never understood why there are 40 million girls named Kimberly or Ashley (no offense) =P anyway, here are some suggestions: Marissa, Alessandra, Olivia, Catalina, Luciana, Adriana, Brenna, Amelie. And a piece of advice, if you pick a really unique name check to see if it has a meaning in another language you wouldn't believe the names I've seen (i met this girl named Mico, and in some Latin American countries that means monkey!!).
