We just got a new puppy and are looking for a good unique name?

He is mostly black with white paws, noise and chest. He is a beagle and a lab mix has short legs and is pudgy.

Reply:Braxton sounds nice for him.

here are some other choices;

Snowfeet[cause of his paws], Dash, Cecil, Brodie, Comet, Dakota, Bailey, Diesel, Bradin, JayBird[Jay for short], Harley, Kodiak[like a black bear], Koda, Kodiee[common name; unique spellin(:], Neiko, Sebastian, Skylar, Meeko, Bentley[sounds like it matches you dog pretty well!] Beau[again, common name, unique spelling for BO], Gage, Mason, Blaine, Brice, Camden, Finley, Hasley, Keegan, Marlon, Oakley, Parker, Spencer, Aspen,

those are pretty unique!
Reply:Choosing a breed? No problem. Deciding whether to get a puppy or adult dog? Piece of cake. So now comes the hard part: coming up with a name.

Serious or silly, evocative or ironic--whatever you decide to christen your dog, it better be something you're comfortable both printing on veterinary forms as well as yelling at the top of your lungs from the other side of the park.

Fortunately, whatever you end up choosing matters not one iota to the dog. But if you're hoping for the respect of other owners, it's best to steer clear of Sir Humps-A-Lot, Lady McDroolie, and Mr. Puddles.

Reply:When it comes to names, I usually finds a way that suits the puppy of their personalities. If you still have a favorite cartoon show or show that's your favorite. Use their name for your pet. I did that a long time ago and it isn't that hard to do it because everyone else will agree on it.
Reply:Heres an idea that I've used in the past. Get a list of baby names (google it). Take a couple of them and mix them together. By combining two ordinary baby names you'll get a very *unique* name for your pup. I don't recomend this for humans, but it makes really cute pup names.
Reply:MoJo, Burrito, Agent, Oreo, Socks(but thats more of a cat name :-) ) Bee, Bomber, Alpha, CoCo, champ, Chimpy, Butterfinger, BoBo, Jillsy, JoJo, etc. . . . . .
